naloxone request

naloxone request

Naloxone can save lives, and access to it is essential in preventing opioid-related deaths.

Naloxone (brand name: Narcan) is a life-saving medication used to reverse opioid overdoses. It is available at no cost via the Oglala Lakota Division of Behavioral Health without a prescription, making it easier to access in case of an emergency.

If you or someone you know is at risk of opioid overdose, it's critical to have naloxone on hand. If you suspect an opioid overdose, administer naloxone immediately and call emergency services.
